I have a cord for just about everything: cell phone, iPod, laptop, camera, earbuds, etc. They all have things in common: I need them, but not all the time, they live in one of my desk drawers, and they are invariably tangled up. So I took a few minutes, and made a few cord keepers from Leafy Treetop Spot, here. They were insanely easy, and I made about 8 of them in an hour. I did not use interfacing, and used snaps instead of Velcro, but they still worked perfectly. Not only can I grab them out of my drawer more easily, but it makes it so much easier to take one and toss it in my purse or backpack if I need it that day without worrying about it being in a sailor’s knot. Bonus: I got to use up fabric scraps!
